Soft Fall Requirements

• Australian Standard 4422:2016, which have critical fall heights of 1.2, 1.8 and 3.0 metres
• This Australian standard outlines the usage of materials that absorb impact in children’s playgrounds and details the relevant terms and conditions that need to be adhered to
• This is to certify that the materials that Wetpour use have been assessed according to the impact test procedure
  

These standards specify the safety requirements of playgrounds and in terms of soft falls, the amount of impact attenuation needed to protect children in the event of a fall from a height. The materials we use must adhere to these regulations and are regularly re-tested to ensure our materials are industry standard. Our shredded rubber underlays are installed to the appropriate depth for the required fall height.
